In the context of situated education, skills are essentially taught by using exercises that are anchored in situations of everyday life (Dobricki et al., 2020). In the classroom, this can be accomplished in a particularly lifelike way (Dobricki et al., 2021) by simulating everyday situations in «Virtual Reality» (VR). The central component of VR is a life-sized, walkable, three-dimensional virtual environment that spatially fully includes its viewer. Thanks to its versatile programmability, such a virtual environment offers the possibility of learning transversal skills in the midst of diverse everyday situations.
